Word Doodlepalooza Day 5: Anon E. Mouse edition

24Oct08

Last night, whilst watching BARBARELLA on TV, I learned the following:

1) There is a character named Durand Durand in that film.

2) At one point, Barbarella says, very seriously, “just in time… my energy box is completely dead.” And for some reason that amused me waaay too much. Possibly because she was wearing an outfit with a plastic breast (just one!) attached to the outside of it.

3) Marcel Marceau’s character looked exactly like Clay Aiken with a mustache.

4) In 1968, Jane Fonda was just crazy, crazy hot. Seriously. She might factor into my long-running Elizabeth Montgomery vs Angie Dickinson debate.

This doodle is from Anon E. Mouse. I can almost guarantee that she has no plastic breasts affixed to the outside of any of her outfits.

an ode to the boots that she made me buy

a 4-inch-heel contribution to our failing economy

leather never looked so good on skinny legs

i have nothing suitably fancy to wear
